The aim of this study is to compute the annual transmission costs and their corresponding evolution formulas for the transmission lines and substations that belong to the Interconnected Transmission System in Bolivia. In this study the previous transmission costs are computed using a different set of transmission expansion scenarios.T hese values will be used to set the transmission tariffs during the next regulatory period from May 1st 2005 to April 30th 2009. A consortium has been created between Mercados Energéticos and IIT. IIT, knowing the output from the economic dispatch model, will compute the load flows in the network to evaluate the transmitted flow in each network element for each required scenario.
